Any difference in Camper brands ? Type of siding ?

So many travel trailers...Is there any difference in the brands like fleetwood, Sunline etc etc ? They all seem the same to me. Also what kind of siding is better ? My old Coachman has like a fiberglass on plywood. My Fleetwood has like a vinyl siding. The Fiberglass seemed like it might have been stronger ?
Anything to watch out for when buying one with a slide ?
