any diesel alternative vs. op optic eye

Has anyone had a problem with any form of alternative diesel whether a mixture of or 100% bio or wvo gumming up or tarnishing the optic eye sensor on the operating pump? I had heard mention of this but no def. I have a 2000 6.5 and would like to start running it in my rig but want to iron out any major issues before i invest any money that way.

Giant story short, yes. Make sure if you are blending or using 100% WVO you use clean, dewatered, reasonable titration oil. I got a couple of codes that took a few normal tanks of #2 to clear. Well made BIO, in any ratio, should be fine.
