Any Amsoil vs FS2000 Filtration results yet?

Almost time for 1st samples on FS2500 not quite 5K yet, I haven't been driving the burb, been commuting Ms to Ga in the truck, but son just started driving the burb to school so starting to rack up the miles again.

I would expect similar results if your using the EA filters. I have the amsoil kit and like the added capacity and Lube specialist had a nice bracket at the time I bought mine to mount the filter heads on.
I would have went with the FS kit if I was buying today though as I like the FS kit.

TD,

Have you done a write up on how to install this yet? If you do decide to do this could you include pictures and part numbers. I really do not fully understand how we get it all connected on our 6.5TD engines.

Thanks,

I think I have it somewhere I usually document what I do, but the online Maxx Torque article for the install has it all also, Heath sells the complete kit, install instructions that came with it were pretty detailed

Thanks!

Are you using the Heath unit? If so were do you have it mounted?

Thanks,

Yes have a Heath unit and have it mounted on top of the frame cross-over. I did that because their std location is on drivers side frame rail where I'll be mounting my Racor and Walbro and I did not want to tie up that real-estate with the , oil is still black but good for use according to lab results, I changed the oil anyway 10,000 miles on it, changed primary filter but not the FS2500, I didn't have the replacement element yet, but oil isn't any clearer visually than the oil in the truck using the Amsoil bypass setup, FS2500 info does say that several changes will be required before oil is visually "cleaner", still waiting for thyat to happen.
