I finished a Teds engine swap today and ran it through a heat cycle to find leaks ect. I don't have a scan tool to set the IP where the truck is at, but can use one a few hundred miles away where the truck is gonna live. Is there any harm in driving the truck there before setting the pump?

mine was way retarded for months before I got it timed. if it sounds good I'd drive it, probably wouldn't do a major tow tho

Thanks, It seems to run fine and it starts as soon as you hit the key. I will know more when I hang the pillar guages and drive it around. Still gotta flush the brakes and put the grill on.

`it will be fine unless you do a TDCO learn then if is way out your SES light will come on. I to have driven many times with a few trucks befor setting the timing.
