Started my air bag install today. So far its going pretty easy. Did the driver side today, passenger tomorrow. I'll get the air compressor controll system after that.
The bag kit part # is 57216.
The controller part # is 25854.
I looked at a few systems, but went with this one because I liked the bracket system it uses. The bags are directly under the frame, between axle and frame. The brackets that come with it box in the fame to give more support.
Some of the other brands put the bags to the side of the frame. Seems like it would have a tendancy to twist the frame??

The controller is the dual path so it will controll each bag seperately with a wired switch on the gauge.

Parts right out of the box.

Bag and brackets mocked up.

First step is to remove the bumper/snubber pad. Its held to frame with two 15mm bolts.

Next directions say to install the componets as you go. I found if I built up the unit on the bench it was easier. I let the axle hang by supporting the frame on stands. That gave me alot more room to work the bag in place.

In place, but not bolted up.

Use the bracket as a template and drill 3 holes for bolts. I think they could have done a better job here and reused the rubber axle bumper bracket bolt holes.

Holes drilled and bolts installed.

Lower bracket sucures to axle with a saddle clamp.

Showing frame bracket. This is the one used to box the frame.

We have built our own brackets on most of our own trucks. They work fine for normal trucks and normal loads but since we exceed the design we break the brackets. The brackets will five before the frame in other words.

Looks like a good kit though.

It seems to be a real nice kit so far. Was "five" a typo? don't know what you meant.
Leroy can you post up the carrying capacity of this truck in my GVW differences thread

According to their FAQs it does not raise GVW. I think they have to say that for liability reasons?? The kit is designed to keep truck level with heavy loads and increase stability while carrying those loads.

Reason Im using air bags is because I plan on putting a camper in the back.

My guess is the f was hit instead of the g,

Got pass side done the other day.

Installed gauge inside the console. I did not like the way it looked on/in dash and my A pillar is full of other gauges.

Drilled a few holes in console liner for wires and air lines.

Air Lifts HD compessor. I mounted it behind the rear seat. Forgot to get pictures. Will do tomorrow.

Like you I like doing this kind of stuff. The controller kit took way longer to install than the air bags.
