Looks like its time to replace my steeering box it started to leak on me. Is there any good aftermarket brands anybody has used. I dont like using factory parts unless i have to id rather get something better. Ive heard of the redhead steering box is there any other ones worth checking out? any info is appreciated.

For the newer trucks most have found a used OEM is better than 99% of the rebuilts out there. Even the ACDELCO rebuilds have had a sketchy(at best) track record. REDHEAD has had a hit or miss rep, and CARDONE's QC is pretty well piss poor to say the least(I adjust ALL of theres I put in now as they are LOOS right out of the box). I like my ARG, but it is ALWAYS needing readjustement to keep it tight. As for your sig, it is under forum actions, then edit profile in teh links at the upper left.

That sucks. I absolutley hate using used parts. dont they just put new seals in or is there more to it. I talked to them on the phone and its going to cost me $650 shipped to canada. not real excited about that either. ill try and do some more research putting used parts on is always my last resort.

Thanks for the heads up on the signature!!
