Does anyone have experience with a product called Aerogater?
It is from www.electriclineassociates.com , and comes with new tailgate hinge cables that keep the tailgate open slightly to reduce aerodrag and increase fuel mileage. The kit also includes a stainless steel clamp to reduce the risk of getting your tailgate stolen. It will only slow down the theft and make it a little more difficult, not prevent the theft of the tailgate. Thanks in advance for your help!

A hose clamp on the passenger side tailgate hinge works great for a tailgate thief deterrent.

Yeah, and probably a little cheaper too! That is all the clamp is basically, a hose clamp with an Allen wrench head instead of a screw driver head. It will just take the thief a little longer to figure it out! What about the tailgate sitting stationary at 45 degrees?
