i found a 93 6.5 that is only a year old jasper remain that has a manuel ip. the guy is going to let me take the ecm and fuel pedal and cable. comes with k&n air filter. how hard will it be to put this in and keep the 93 ip. i like it better because dont have to worry about pmd will this work. i would like to get my truck running this week if possible thanks in advance

It can be done, but it is alot of work. My brother and I (mostly brother) have converted 3 1996 trucks to DB2 ip's. For the most part the same as a 1995. The hardest part is knowing/learning how to swap out the PCM to a TCM. All the parts from the 93 will be needed IP, lines, ess, tcm, GP relay, basicaly all the mechanicals. I have been on my brother for over a year to write a guide. I did all the mechanical work and he did the electrical. If you are not a hard core 6.5 nut you could never tell it was converted. No wires were cut the way we did it. It looks factory. It took months of working on the first one (part time) to perfect the swap.
Sorry I really can not be of much help at this point as I am relying on my brother now, but to answer you question it can/has been done.
Once we have a guide ready it will be on my web site.
