I'm looking for this program where I wont have to pay to renew it. The one I use now is only a trial and it only lasts about 20 seconds before it locks up my system. Are there any free subscriptions out there?

If you need to make pdf's, try CutePDF. Also, another option if for some reason you don't want to use Adobe Acrobat Reader is Foxit Reader (which is free). It's lightweight and not too bad, but I still use Acrobat Reader.

CutePDF or PrimoPDF are the two I use for creating PDFs.
Otherwise, I just use the free Adobe Acrobat reader. No reason to buy it.
