On my 1993 that doesn't need a vac pump I have some bolt holes where a vac pump could mount. On a 454 this has an aluminum bracket and an idler pulley.

Is this part a direct bolt in on a 6.5 from a 454?

The AC belt slap is pretty noisy even in the cab with high head pressures in hot weather. The 454 doesn't have this so bad due to the idler before the compressor. The alternative is a 1996 drive system with the compressor belt load after the tensioner.
