I just had this item pop up in my email, from scam.com, regarding our favorite rip off artist. Looks like he is still trolling around. Thought I would share for some of the newer members to STAY AWAY!

I was hoping he had been put to rest last summer, but looks like he's still out there. A lot of very interesting reading about this guy and his scams on here, the place, and scam.com.

The sad thing is, it looks like he's still sucking people in.

The guy must type a thousand words a minute and spend 24/7 surfing the net. And, he's been doing this since 2004 IIRC. Amazing.
 
I love that guy. He makes for great entertainment. He hates just about anybody that doesn't feel he is the greatest diesel tech in the world and or doesn't support his products. Its kinda like Lee's auto Ranch in Ellington, Connecticut - nothing but crooks, thieves and scam artists that only care about one thing. MONEY oh I'm sorry, did I say that out loud :D

A word of advice to the new guys around here. He owns a website called www.duramax... something .com. Its a free site hosted on yahoo where he claims he has developed all of these incredible 6.5L diesel products and that everybody else is "copying him" Lets also not forget that if even the slightest thing goes wrong with ANYBODY elses product, he immediately jumps on it and has some 6 paragraph essay on not to use this seller. The best one is with SSdiesel supply and a cone filter that failed and damaged an engine. Despite SSdiesel covering the damages and warrantying the entrie thing hassle free, this A1 leaped at it and has used it as his centerpiece for bashing SSdiesel for years now.

If you do come across his site, or just plain want to look at it and LAUGH, make sure your spam and virus protection are at there max, otherwise ytou won't be coming out of there alive...
 
This guy really hates me as well it seems. I was the last one to push him over the edge and get him banned from Scam/com for 10 or so days. He never came back after that IIRC.

Whoever the "wised up A1 victim" is, will soon be called a troll and whatever else Jimmy boy loves to reuse over and over again.

I could use a laugh, but i don't need Jim Ben Young's brain liquefying stupidity that goes with it.
 
Wait until he sends you letters telling you he is sueing you and the different web sites you have been on bashing him when his name comes up:D
He is a complete idiot. I have his mail box address around here somewhere if one of you Cali guys wants to stake it out and wait for him.

Although IF, and this is a big big if, he came up with the idea first then he has a valid complaint, but I have seen his products and they are definitely not superior quality.

I am interested in the engineering behind his fuel control though..... if indeed it contains all the fuel resistors and can be switched between them, even if you had to reset the PCM every time you switched, then it might be a viable product (if manufactured by somebody that could build a decent product) ..... it would save the need to carry multiple resistors .......

I am surprised he hasn't registered here......
 
Funny I was just on his website A1customs.com and looked at this thing that lets you turn up the IP fuel by turnning a dial from the cab. I was on another website to and somebody used it and liked it but I dont see it working.
 
if it contains all the resistors and is not just a potentiometer you would need to reset the PCM every time you changed. it wouldn't work as a potentiometer (did i spell that right).

I would not buy one from him anyways because he is a douchebag and i do business based on character...... if i don't like you then we can't make a deal.

:haha: lets not forget Jim, who is probably one of A1's worst enemies. I used to get a kick out of reading the threads between A1 and Jim as Jim would destroy, degrade, and prove incorrect almost every single word in the posts he made. Those would go on for days:rolleyes5:

Glad he HASN'T come over here. He's such a waste of time ad is taking up precious server space that could be housing a thread on a breakthrough in 6.5 performance.
 
Does anyone have a pic of this guy? There were a few floating around during my time but I never knew for sure.
