Hey All,

Here is one sweet ridae that was recently traded in at the dealership where my mechanic Cuz works.

The paint is 30 years old, garage arked, and traded in for a Cobalt.

Man, I wish I could have picked this one up, and so sdid my Cuz, but someone beat us both to it.

Enjoy.

1963 Chev Impala - 283 2 Spd Powerglide.

The 283 is getting a factory rebuild.

So, what interesting things have you guys seen traded in?

When I was in high school in the early 70's I had the chance to buy a 64 SS from a friend of my dads, I turned him down because it was RED which I did not like. What I would give for that darn thing now!!

Creative use of a 2x4...... Different take on a trans jack if I've ever seen one... :D

Nice ride.

Whoever traded that in got taken for a ride. It's too bad that they didn't think to sell it outright.

The original owner traded it on on a new Cobalt. Not sure why, but he did.
My Cuz is rebuilding the 283 for the new owner, and I will ask him if he knows why the guy traded this in, since it was traded in at the dealership he works at. If he had of spotted it first, he would have snatched it up.

The dealer was asking $!8,000 but I am pretty sure the new owner got it for $15K. Was only valued at $5,500 trade in value. If my Cuz had of been able to get it first, he would have... :)
