Ok my pastors burb is throwing code number P0236 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance. Please explain I can't seem to find a site that will explain it. Is it detrimental to a 1000 mile trip, how to fix,etc,etc.

Check your vacuum at the wastegate actuator and at the wastegate solenoid.

In this thread from the above search you'll find info to tell you what you should be looking for vacuum wise. My vacuum readings checked out OK all through the system, my wastegate actuator was stiff at idle and so replacing the wastegate solonoid fixed my intermittent P0236.

Investing in Alldata or manuals is a real help in these scenarios as you get troubleshooting flow charts that take you through diagnosing codes.

I used to get this code every once in a while. It never came back since I went w/ a heath t/m.
