97 idler anyone supersteer'ed.

Uhhg 220K+ miles total and 100K ish on idler. I am getting the loose slip in the steering wheel in a curve. I think it's the idler worn out and tires worn uneven.

Due for new tires soon. Wondering if the super steer idler is worth $140 extra or go with raybestos or other quality idler?????

Anyone used the supersteer idler? Google it if you want info easy to find.

You could also consider the MOOG problem solver as it is a lot beefier than the raybestos and other OEM type replacements. If your idler is bad check the pitman arm closely as it is probably bad as well.

Will check pitman. I replaced them both and all tie rods at around 120K iirc.

I saw the 2 hole moog problem solver but not the 3 hole one for 90's trucks on a quick phone search earlier. It did look bigger but still appears to be a bushing type design and the super steer I think has a roller type bearing. Will have to consider price though.

Raybestos has a pro grade it looks very similar to service grade size wise though. I have liked several raybestos parts in comparison to others a while back but you know how it goes have to compare each time.
