97 gmc k1500 241c temporary 2wd or swap to 243c t case detonated

ok stupid questions incoming. I have a 97 gmc k1500 with a 4l60e 4bolt to tranny 241c transfer case, the case cracked bad and i cant find a cheap used one around my area kaplan, la. i have a 243c 6bolt to tranny out of a 98 gmc k1500 that has nothing wrong with it- can they be swapped with adapter to make truck 2wd till i can get another 241c, or can i get a new/used tail and swap driveshafts to have the truck usable while im at work (7and7) and wife needs transportation while im gone.
