'94 Chevy

My friend here in California just bought a '94 Silverado CC diesel, 4x4, 1 ton, 5 speed, with duel rear wheels for $1500, runs, and drives, with just a little bit of blow by. I told him about the upgrades he should do because he doesn't know how to use, or have a computer. I also told him about the VIN request section on here, but now I can't find it anywhere. Would he have to go to the dealer to get this info, or is there somewhere else to get it? Maybe I'm just not seeing it on here. The VIN is 1GCHK33F1RJ334222 truck is in good shape for being 20 years old with 220,000 miles. I'm thinking it must have had the engine replace at one time because it has such a small amount of blow by. Thanks for any help in advance.

Vin check availability is gone from here. The guy that did it had to stop or risk losing his job. Tell your friend to get computer literate and join up here and the guys will keep his new ride going for him.
