94 and earlier power mirror switch

So I decided it was time to see if I could repair my mirror switch on my plow truck. I have 3 switches so I sacrificed one to see if I could do anything with it. Turns out I had to make 4 notches in the housing to insert a small pick into to release the rocker portion of the switch.IMG_20210312_132705.jpgIMG_20210312_132745.jpgIMG_20210312_132738.jpg

After that the next step is to remove the part that you select which side is going to be controlled. Be very careful removing this try not to put any side pressure on it as it shattered on my sacrificial switch. The rest of it comes apart pretty easily. I took a knife and a pick to the contact that stays with the circuit board and cleaned any corrosion off them. The upper half is sorta U shaped and all I did to it was very gently squeeze it to give it a little more tension. Then it was back together. So in the last picture on the previous post you can see 2 white plastic parts and then the upper half of the contact. The contact actually has to slide sideways into the piece with the knob and there's a arm of sorts that it fits under to physically lift it when you let off the switch. Oh and before I assembled it all the way I tested each switch. There's 3 electrical connections on each switch 2 are close together and one is spaced over just a tad. The one kinda bye itself is the common one the other 2 one is normally open and the other is normally closed. You can operate the switch and verify it's function.
