I have a 94 6.5 with 300,000 miles the problem I'm having is the truck will start up run for a 10 minutes and then bog and die out. I did the obd port trick to turn the lift pump on and bleed air out of the fuel filter housing. I've replaced the lift pump and did the fuel filter I'm at wits end where is the air coming from? I don't even know where to begin please help and let me know what other information you all need to help me figure this out. I keep bleeding the air to get it running so i know it's not air left from filter and lift pump.

Put a piece of clear tubing on the return coming out of the IP to verify air bubbles. If your getting air with no leaks on the grounds it usually per LP as there is a vacuum in the line. Most probable place to look is the sending unit on top of the fuel tank.

You just make sure the LP is working.

In a 94-95, the LP is controlled by the OPS when engine is running.

Let's go a step further, can you start and keep it running when you energize the LP with the OBD port trick?

If yes, chances are the OPS is bad and you need ACDelco OPS only not other brand.
