Hey New here I've got 94 6.5 turbo diesel PU. Had water problem in fuel, took care of water. Now truck stalls, when cold it'll start back up easy.,as it warms up harder to start, have to let cool off before it will start again. Ordered PMD . Any help would be appreciated thanks jimbo

I moved this into the 6.5 forum so it will get more exposure. :)

Carry a bottle of water with you, when it stalls hot, pour the water over the IP as far back as you can. If it starts up the head and rotor in the IP are worn.

Welcome Jimbo. The water trick is the first thing to do. If that doesn't work let us know and we can go from there.

You said there was water in fuel, have you changed the fuel filter?
If you do, have a few handy since you may need to change it again a couple of times till all the water goes out.

Then, you need to bleed the fuel system.

With water in fuel, depending on the quantity, you may need to change the LP and in a lot of cases, the OPS which controls the LP is bad also. The water will ruin the LP fast.
