I assumed they'd be 9/16 as my 86 CUCV(K30) but Summit is showing them to be M14x1.5 ??
Is that correct ? I gotta order lugnuts today.

They are M14. The only things not metric on these trucks are: engine to trans bolts, motor mount to engine bolts and some of the bolts in the rear axle.

Yep, got all new ones on. He only had 6 lugnuts on each wheel with 35's and had 9/16th. He's lucky this truck didn't kill someone. I have to go over every nut and bolt in this rag.

On the 96 Suburban I found out last year that sometime since I have had the vehicle that somebody changed out all of the rear studs for studs that were to short.

I never noticed for I don't know how long. It had capped lugnuts on the aluminum wheels. I had a wheel off, spun an open lugnut on and saw that only half the nut had stud in it.

It was obvious the studs were not as old as the Suburban. They were all nice and black - they looked to be not all that old. I found the proper length at Autozone

I have no idea why or when. I'm guessing I paid for it to be done.

Why WOULD somebody change all of the rear studs?
