So I put a hundred or so miles on the 05 today, went and got some posts and a slat for our hog barns, as we are turning (shipping the big pigs off, cleaning and repairing, then getting new little ones) and I was thinking if there was anything else I should be doing for maintenance. Oil was changed in October with Amsoil along with the fuel and air filters (plastic wix and EaA), Trans, Transfer Case and axles were done in 08 at 53k with Amsoil and the tires are new Transforces. The brakes check out, and it was greased with Amsoil when the oil was changed, at about 76k, so I have another few thousand before it needs greasing and a tire rotation. The only other thing I can think of that it might need is the Dex flushed out, but I hate doing coolant, especially filling through the overflow, so that might go to a local shop.

Am I missing something obvious? (Motor is all stock, FWIW.)

Sorry for the long post, lol.

If the coolant hasn't ever been changed I would definitely do that, and have it flushed. Even though the manual indeed says 150K I would flush and change every 4 or 5 years regardless of mileage...but that's me.

I would also flush and replace the brake fluid. Lube door hinges, and the protectorent for the door rubbers and window seals. That's all I can think of right now.

Allison spin-on needs to be addressed in a few k, when I grease it.

Shocks are original, seem to be decent yet. Might try to see if dad will bite on a set of Bilsteins for me to install in March over my spring break. Tires for his car are a priority right now.

Dex is 5 years/150k. It's an 05, so she needs it.

Door hinges were greased this fall, will hit the door seals with some silicone lube before I leave Sunday.
