Does anybody know where to get a reasonably priced set of 8 Lug 6.5" To 8 x 170mm Wheel Adapters 2" Spacers?
I could pay around $200 for a set and be in decent shape financially on the set of 04-07 OEM Ford wheels with half wore tires. I think he said 07 but I don't remember anymore.
No made in China's.
I'vbe heard that some of the adapters are not reliable/safe.
Does anybody know anything about the adapters? Which are good or bad?
I've seen them for between $640 for steel to $200 for aluminum.
Actually I would have thought an aluminum set would be higher priced.
I really don't want to invest $200 and then have a wheel fall off going down the road.
This would be for the 96 Suburban. It's used for a daily driver and I don't anticipate that it would see much abuse. It's not like it's going 4 wheeling. Unless there was a dangerous coyote on the lose.
If not I'll have a set of Ford rims with half wore tires to sell for $225
