found a 63 nova coup (2 door), guy is asking $2800. body looks solid other than a little bit of minor rust on the right rear quarter panel (pin sized), complete interior but needs replacement. I6 motor and 3 on the tree, ran when parked about a year ago. just curious if yall think its worth the price tag. unknown if motor is original at this point.

plan would be to restore the body, put a cowl hood on it and put in a v8 with a stick shift, have some fun burning the tires off with a good looking classic.

thats what i was thinking, just hate putting money towards something that i'm not seeing in person (deployed, return in about a month). have a friend going to check it out in a few days and will hand over a small deposit for me if it looks solid.

wont get around to building it up for about a year, some minor tweaks to the tow rig and the work on the offroad truck will come first but should be done with those by next summer.

couple pics of it.

current owner says he's ok with a $300 deposit to hold it until i get back in mid august.

mentioned that its a 194 and was rebuilt a little over 10,000 miles ago. unless its the original motor i'll be getting rid of it.
