Hello, i just bought a 60/40 red split bench with a fold down console out of a 1997 silverado ext. cab. The seats seemed to be "loose", like you could move them around a little, i think the tracks are worn out from sliding them all the time to get to the back seat. Does anyone know where i can buy another set?? I will post a picture of the seat on here tonight. No rips or tears, paid 40 bucks from the local junkyard.

Make sure the slides are working correctly. It has a compound or double slider mechanism. The handle unlocks one then the seat back unlocks the other. If the seat isn't squarely locked into both it will have some play if the 2nd slide isn't locked in the seat will travel backwards and forwards but the second slide will be locked.

LMC might be a source never looked though.

K good call, i will check soon. I sat in them before i took them out of the truck and if i shifted my weight i could move them a little. Truck had almost 200k on it tho....
