Hello all, sorry if this is a repeat post but i have the following problem.

I am running a 94 GMC K1500 4x4 Turbo 6.5l automatic. I drove the truck home for lunch drove it back to work (Running fine) / when i tried to leave work 5hrs later it would not start. the glow plug light come on then goes right off with in a matter of seconds you can hear them clicking under the hood/truck cranks fine and has plenty of gas and batteries are optimum red tops less than a year old. it acts like its not getting any fuel. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Matt

The coolant temp sensor[on crossover] could be giving a false reading telling the ecm that the engine is warm and doesn't need the glows on very long. There should be a chart in the tech. library with the resistance values verses temps. It wouldn't hurt to check for blown fuses.
You can jump the glow plug controller with jumper cables to see if it will start with glows working.

Could be a normal condition to depending on temps. Check your GP system, but sounds like something else. PMD? Grounds? fuel delivery?
Are you getting fuel out the drain of FFM?

It was the Glow Plug Controller / replaced and she started right up :) Glow plugs were replaced last december right around 183k miles. I also went ahead and replaced the coolant temp sensor just to be on the safe side. I am planning on doing a PMD relocate by the end of sep. Also planning on replacing Injector's truck has 185k on it and i don't know if they have ever been replaced? Any suggestions on injector's / marine or no? also looking at cold air intake Thanks again for the awesome help and sorry took me so long to get back with info :) I love my truck and this site RULES! :D is there a link for maintenace schedule? ie: replace injectors at 100k etc :D

Just get some bosch injectors. Don't bother with marine tips if this is basically a daily driver.

The 100 thou replacement you hear is a general rule from some experienced 6.5 guys. You won't find it in the GM maintenenace schedule.

I've been told by a reputable source that 100-150 can be streteched out of a set daily driven and never towed. Over that, you're rolling a pair of loaded dice.

Same source told me that you can cut about 25,000 off those numbers if you tow fairly regular.....
