Trying to get an idea how many people would be interested in attending a 6.5 / 6/2 Diesel Only Spring Fling event?

It is proposed that this event might include a Dyno Day and gathering at a nearby race track.

If you vote "Not interested because it's too far" then please suggest an alternate location. :reporter:

Thanks!

Count me in!!!

COME ON GUYS, LETS HAVE A LITTLE GATHERING AROUND A DYNO AND SOME COLD BEERS!!!

Pacific Northwet?

If anyone puts one on in the Pacific Northwet (Oregon/Washington/Idaho) I'd be game. Maybe even get Bill Heath or a few vendors to host/sponsor it.
Mike

I wish I could afford to show up. A little to far away from Germany. I am not suppose to leave here till late summer.

Heck yeah I'll be there! Golds, I am still in MN with college for another 3 months, but then I'll be back in Rapids, let me know if you need a hand.

The current proposed location is Huckstorf Diesel in Franklin, WI.

I am open to suggestions for alternate locations, at this point.

I am not going to contact anyone about this until we have a better idea of how many might attend.

Also, what's going on here? This Poll has had 82 views and only 9 replies...?

Regards,

Without going into my life story, my wife is due March 31 with our baby boy. With losing health insurance I dont even know how much longer Ill have my truck.. so Im out guys :(

That would be great, but the only time I'll be in the midwest with my truck is later part of July to visit family, otherwise I'm on central West Coast, so a North West, South West Im easily in.

For all that have replied (both yes and no), I have plotted all of your locations in google maps.

Please navigate to maps.google.com and search (in the maps search bar) for 6.5 Diesel Towing Resource members. This will pull up the locations of all who replied to this poll AND provided some semblance of a location in their profile.

Maybe this would help us all decide on a more "centralized" location for a Spring Fling.

From what I have seen, Indiana or Ohio may not be bad choices...

Regards,

Huckstorf is just up the road from me. I was thinking about checking with Mark on the cost of doing a Dyno Pull anyway.

Northwest / Northcenteral Indiana wouldn't be too bad either.
