I just turboed my 6.2 in my 84 k10 and had to remove the A/c heater box because it runs into the down pipe, i have the non ac setup but the holes in the firewall are no where close ,i thought iv red somewhere that you can adapt a s10 heater box in its place somehow but cannot find a thread on it, could i just cut the a/c part of the box off and apoxy over a cover? Thnk you for you help

Yes, you can just enclose it from the outside air. Keep it air tight. The more you can have it insulated the better off you are for more efficiency. Sorry not familiar with the s10 deal.

Did you track your mpg before the change? If so please do a thread on adding the turbo for others and include power differences and mpg. I added a turbo to my n/a 6.5 and notice an increase in mpg when I can keep my foot out of full throttle (kinda hard to do though):fing02:
Did you change pop pressures on the injectors and do anything with the IP?

You could use the Banks manifold that was designed to clear the HVAC box on that body style instead of the 6.5 manifold. Leroydiesel sells the Banks parts separately.
