hey guys quick question.

as i was starting my truck and fumbling around inside i accidently hit the 4x4 high button. now i cant get it to come out of 4x4. i hit 4x4 low and sometimes the light will flash but never switch to low, if i try and put it back into 2 wheel drive the button wont light up at all. does it sound more like a transfer case or actuator issue to you guys or does it just sound like the switch? any and all help appreciated

Mine is a little wonky that way also. And saw a recent post tha others are sharing the same experience.

My 2WD light does not always stay 'On'. Seeing as I am confident that the X-fer case and hubs are in fact working properly, I am ignoring what the light does. Also, even when the light looks like it is 'Off', at night I can see that it actually *very* dim.

There is a post in the other forum with similar problem.
Turned out it was the switch at the t-case.
That switch was disintegrating.
