40 series vs super 40?

Hey yall,

What difference is there between the Flowmaster 40 series and the Super 40 series? From what I have picked up it seems there is little difference other than the super 40 has less interior resonance? Thanks

If it's the Regular 40 Series, it'll be the Loudest. If it's the 40 Series with Delta Flow it'll be the Quietest. Super 40 will be Quieter than the Regular 40, but Louder than 40 Delta. Super 40 is a Bigger Muffler, so it'll Flow more.
 
Go with the delta flow is my opinion. the regular 40 is a loud droning son of a gun inside the cab.
 
Thats what my local muffler guy was recommending. Nice to have someone you can trust and wont screw ya. He gives me great prices and does top quality work :agreed:
