2011 Rancho 4" lift kits

It looks to me like the first one is what you want Jeff, but I'd call them.
Relocate to? --- Where?
Looks BADASS in the pic! :agreed:

the drop location means that the front of the T-bar will stay in the stock location in the lower a arm and the rear will drop with a lowered crossmember. The lower a arm does drop with the front sub frame though. The other one will keep the rear of the t-bar in the stock location and uses a weird little bracket that slides into the a-arm and actually raises the t-bar up and out of the way. I dont see the little bracket in the pic though. Either way is good though. I run a Fab-tech lift on my rig.

I see the little brackets upon further inspection of the pic. Upper half of the pic on each side. I personally like the second kit better. Keeping the t-bar in the proper hole in the a arm seems a little more stout IMO.

So the second kit actually keeps the torsion bars in the factory location? Sorry, I'm still confused.. I didn't have a chance to talk with them today.

In reality, neither keeps the t-bar in OEM location. All other lift manufacturers use the drop application cause it is tried and proven. The relocator is kinda gimmicky.

in a sense, it drops it but is still in the a-arm where it belongs and in the lowered crossmember. Look at this site and pics. This is what re-
locating the t-bar means....

Hope this clarifys. Not a big fan of this kit. Seems IMO that it is just one more thing that can go wrong on an already busy suspension system.
That's a good example to clarify. Thanks!

After buying a set of shocks, this will be close to the same price as the Cognito it seems...
