Found a set of alloy wheels,17inch 8 lug wheels off a 2009 2500 hd chevy. Will i have any problem putting them on my o7 classic and what size tire can i get on them truck is all stock thanks

No fitment issues...you can safely put 285/70/17's on there... maybe even 305's

What's the rim width stamped on the wheel?

7.5's?

I really wouldn't go more than a 285 then...you'll crown the tire and wear the centers out faster than the edges...

I'm not saying people haven't gone 305's and never had a problem...but the tire size calculator advises against it as well as most tire mfrs. for that size rim...

I've run 285/75/16's and had good wear on my 16" PYO's (60k+ on Revo's)

the 285/70/17 are basically the same dimensions except on a 17" rim

Just my personal observations and opinion.

Pepp
