Well the original bit the dust at 194k this AM.

Ordered a 145 amp ac delco at the parts store in town. Any idea if it will be a direct bolt in?

Thanks

If you had a 105 amp before, you might need a longer belt, if you had a 130 or 145 it should bolt right in.

It was original. I assumed 105.

I'll take my spare belt and measure it, any idea how much longer I'll need?

They might have that info, it was listed as an option in their system.

Swap went easy, took 45min. In that time I measured and compared a template. Dimensions were the same and it took the same belt.

Drove around the section (4miles) all seems well.

I was surprised to find they did not take my core. Bearings are still free just stopped charging. Is there a place I can send it to get rebuilt? I will check locally where I get large irrigation pump motors rebuilt
