I was down in Texas visiting my elderly parents this weekend. Besides yardwork and such, I washed and waxed their two vehicles.

My dad has a 2002 Dodge 1500, and I noticed that the headlight lenses are cloudy and oxidized. Is there any easy way to correct that?

Thanks,

Bud

plain ol' polishing compound will do the trick followed with a good wax...

Maguires makes a plastic polish as well...works better on 4 wheeler fenders than headlights though.

I have heard toothpaste works but have not tried it...

I had that problem when I bought my Ford back in 03. I opted just to get new lenses. $78 bucks for both on ebay, brand new and it dramatically changed how the front end looked.

novis #2 fine scratch remover. I use that on my lightbar and headlights, makes them look like they are off the showroom floor again.
