2001 Suburban Production Code

Gentlemen-

I have to replace the power steering gearbox on my Suburban. It's a 2001 K1500. There are four gearboxes to choose from depending on production code of the vehicle: AX, UT, LS or YK. I've looked on the driver's door and in the glove compartment. Can't find anything related to a production code. I did a VIN lookup on decodethis.com, but it didn't have anything either. Where else should I be looking? Thanks.

If the crew here cannot nail it down for you, consider dropping by one of the GM dealerships , get the printout with the part number based on VIN, and then go shopping

Getting a print-out based on VIN has helped me a couple times when I needed to narrow-down on the correct part and the misc vendors listed several options.
