I have searched and searched and haven't found this anywhere so forgive me if the answer is already out there. Can someone please tell me where to find the blower motor relay on a 2000 Jimmy, and what exactly it looks like?

My blower went out completely and when I went to replace the motor I found that it was actualy getting power even when there was no key in the ignition. I was told the realy was probably bad and that's what most likely burned up the blower motor in the first place. Any truth to this? I replaced the motor and it I working again but I don't want to be relacing it again in a few months cuz I dint replace the relay. Thanks.

A bad motor will take out a relay, but not the other way 'round... (well maybe, but the motor would run 24/7 or until the battery goes dead or motor fails..a STUCK relay.. not commom)

There is a resistor pack that sometimes fails causing you to lose all but high speed. High speed is thru a relay.
