2000 burb front diff

Anyone know what years of front diffs will interchange with my 2000. I'm thinking a wide range but want to be sure.
 
pretty sure any 8.25 ifs from 99-06 gmt 800 will work. i think the actual diff portion is the same for the older ones, but the right side axle tube that bolts on changed in 99 for the new body style.
 
Never seen a ujoint act like that. It wasn't ready to fall out yet but it would make the steering wheel wobble close to an inch.
 
Good to hear. Also good to see the what fixed the problem. Don't see that one happen everyday. Odd that a ujoint running a solidly mounted diff could affect the steering like that.
