Yes, yet another bout with my addiction. I just can't help myself:nonod:
Not all 6.5s brought to Barry's refuge can be saved. This poor creature lived a very rough life and deserves to die saving others.
This thing actually runs very well and drives. It has a 6.2 bottom end with 6.5 heads and 4911 ip. NV4500. I haven't run the vin yet to see the gear ratio. I am hoping for 3.40s It is a 93. And yes, I got it cheap. Also got the turbo that had been on it when it had the 6.5 and a IP from a 6.2.

I think you should write a letter to your gov-nor and apply for funding to set up an "SPCT" for old abused GM trucks,like the SPCA has for animals.:hihi:

Or mebby phone the mental help line ;)
 
Going to need to set up a 2nd account just have more signature space for the fleet!

The guys going to own more 6.5's than the rest of Canada.

I filled a 60 gallon garbage can with all the garbage in it. :eek: The only useable body part is the passenger door. No rust:???: The driver's door isn't rusty either but it's all banged up. The engine sounds like the cold advance is on all the time. Tranny and clutch work great. The recline is broke on the driver's seat. Passenger seat works good. I don't know that I could get either seat clean. Very dirty and the po set the black sooty turbo on the passenger seat. I got most of the broken glass vacuumed up from all over the interior. The po had a 5th wheel trailer tip over that was hitched up. That's how the box and cab got so bent up , or at least some of it.:rolleyes5:
 
It won't be long and I will be able to sell my lawn mowers. Everywhere will be covered with 6.5 trucks. Gonna take a few more to cover 5 acres though.
 
Ive owned ten 6.5 trucks, but not all at once. Your a sick man Barry. Only thing that keeps me from the sickness is space.
 
Bless you, my son. There will be a special heated leather 7-way reclining seat reserved for you in diesel heaven. Keep them apart to avoid additional damage to the fenders/tailgates once they start trying to procreate (they're animals, you know... it's in their blood)...

Wow, wish i got that deal, would make my swap to an NV4500 much easier... Everything would swap right over, minus driveshaft...
