1998 c2500 6.5l power steering/ brake issues

I have an issue with my hydro boost system and or steering system. I have replaced my steering box some months back. Since replaced when I step on the brakes I lose power sterring for a moment or untill the pedal movment is done then I have power steering again. Looking for ideas thanks
