I would have kept this listing for myself if I hadn't bought a motor, I hope someone can use it. If your serious and need someone to put eyes on it, before 2/9, send me a PM, its just down the road.

1997 Chevy 2500 Pickup, VIN: 1GCGK24F1VE272456, (162,827 miles). 6.5L diesel, 4x4 work truck. Interior dirty, drivers side seat torn apart, scratches and some rust. 3 out of 4 tires are like new, drivers rear less than 50%. Have to jump truck by the fuse box due to solenoid missing from fuse box to battery. It also may need a battery, fuel tank leaking and gauge not working. Truck runs and moves forward and backwards, it was towed to the repo yard, must be towed out.
This is a repossessed vehicle and is being sold "AS-IS" - general condition unknown - 8% Buyers Fee.

Definatley a good buy if you could get it for $300-$500....Too bad you can't hear it run and check the blowby....If you had space you could Take what you need and still make money....I scrapped a 3700 LB. car today and got $358.00.

Seems you always find what you need, after you've spent money.

:iagree:

Amen to that brother.

I see you all's scrap price is still OK huh. Early last summer that 3700# car would have gotten you $500 here.

I havent brought anything to the yard recently, but someone said the prices are on the rise??? especially for scrap steel. Any truth to that?

$1700!?

Who could be that desperate? Much better looking/running 6.5's out there for that kind of coin...even up here in expensive Saskatchewan...
