1996 K1500 6.5 diesel Suburban right turn signal flashing fast and backup lights also flashing with the turn signal.

Left turn works fine.

All bulbs look to be working fine.

Any ideas? My first thought is possibly the board on the rear right taillight or possibly something in the harness?

Any ideas on how to properly diagnose this?

my problems with lights turned out to be ground. check the ground from the wires, there might be one grounded to the body and not a full wire run with the rest of the wires.

Sounds like a winner. Wish I had a nice warm spot to work on it. Should be an easy fix

The fast blink may be a flasher module going bad. I think you are on track with the ground on the reverse lights.
