1988 Chevy 2500 4x4 (gas) - $500 (Indy east)

Depends what you're in need of. Non running 1/2 ton gasser that had a fire doesn't seem too valuable, but to the right person, it could be a gold mine. If you need a core for and engine, maybe? Need a few chassis components? Well, it's spent its life in the salt belt, so be careful. Scrap? It might bring a couple hundred, so you may come out ahead after you rob what you need.

Yea, i just didn't know if you could just buy a new wiring harness and carbeurator + filter, delete the a/c, and call it good..

It's possible for sure, just easier said than done. The wiring harness will be the biggest issue, finding one might be tough. Does it have a 700r4? Converting it from toilet bowl injection to carb might be easier/cheaper. I would knock him down on the price no matter what though.

Summit sells wiring harnesses, they aren't cheap. IIRC Painless is the brand name.
