I found this on craigslist;

http://austin.craigslist.org/rvs/2220030736.html

It needs some work but, you never see any 27foot fifth wheels for this price in this shape. I can clean and repair everything on it myself.

I just can not afford any new or close to new RV with the wife in school. I just paid off the teryx so it is time for a new toy!

What do yall think of this camper? Good deal for the price?

For $750, it's hard to go wrong, Marty... the seller isn't trying to dress it up, and everything with a trailer is fixable, as you already saw on here...

well...if you want my honest opinion, I usually veer away from anything with water damage. How's the roof ? The cost of roof replacement can be more than it's worth. I usually won't even look at anything older than mid 90's. That's just me but you are there to see it first hand. Just make sure you poke the ceiling in every corner and in the closets etc for rot. The wood underneath could be rotten as well and the structural intergirty of the unit could be compromised. Check all appliances. If something like the fridge isn't working same thing. Cost will surpass the unit.

Well looks like I will not be getting this one, they won't it gone yesterday.

I need them to hold it since I am still in Afghanistan.

Thanks for the input! :thumbsup:

I don't think it going to be any great loss. There will be plenty of good deals on Campers with the way the fuel prices are headed. What's most important now is to come home safely to get one....

True, Thanks Ace! :thumbsup:

Yup, when diesel hits 5 bucks a USG and the economy tanks again (truthfully, it never really came back up), recreational vehicles are gonna show up on the market in droves.

And you'll be in the drivers seat for prices.....

Sweet! I hope so, Thanks GreatWhite! :thumbsup:

I pass lots all time Marty and I don't see the inventories getting any smaller if anything I'm seeing more added to the lots, also a good many Kartina/FEMA trailers on lots to be had for next to nothing

That is crazy because all FEMA trailer's around here go for $2,995.00 and that is one with no holding tanks.

Were are they cheaper?

I'd watch the FEMA ones. There was a big story onthose being pumped out and using some kind of glue in the with fomaldhyde making people sick.
