1948 diamond t 201 with Holmes wrecker - $49000 (Bolton, vermont)

Wow. I'm not an art guy, but that looks like artwork to me.

When they were built, did they sell at a higher price and the regular rigs out there? I just wonder what it was considered compared to its competitors for appearance & quality when it was brand-new.

When i get tires of my Mustang i want to get into a small Mack, Brockway or Diamond.
 
Diamon T's were in the U.S. military too. Would like to find a B model Mack from the Roadway fleet. Dad always cussed them, lol.
 
I don't get emotional too much, but the beauty of the truck, and imagining the amount of work put into this truck almost brought a tear to my eye.

It also reminded me of my uncle, who has gone to be with the Lord, and how he would've loved this old truck restored to this condition.
