Looking for some brands to check out for a 12v onboard air setup. I am looking for something BIG!! Only thing I have found thus far is Viair... Who knows of someone who makes a much bigger compressor?

The York AC compressor is easy to modify into an air compressor. It is belt driven from the motor and if my memory is working they are available with up to around 10 cfm capacity. They can be found on older vehicles in wrecking yards for fairly cheap.
The bigger concern is space around the 6.5 motor to mount the York.

Did you think of a co2 tank.. They carry alot of energy. You can use power tools, its quite, can inflate tire. They come in different sizes. Depends whats your application

SfcJones,

Why 1200 bucks ?

I made my own.. Bought 2 20lbs tank brand new for 130 each, plus 2 good quality regulators and spent 60 bucks on the metal bracket.. On my offroader I run 1 20lb bottle for my ARB locker plus air ups, and swap in the other bottle which I have in my garage. Now since my Burb will be towing my offroader, the extra bottle will be in the Burb.. Just make sure the regulators can handle CO2. Real simple
