Does anyone have the info on which 6.5TD trucks had the 4L60E stock?

My 94 1500 built in 93 came with a 4L80E, but maybe it was added as an option, and part of the "2500HD towing package" the original sticker says

I'm thinking the ECMs would have to be a little different to control the two different trannys, but none of my ECM/EPROM info has anything about any 6.5TD trucks with the Transmission RPO code of M30 for the 4L60E. All of them say MT1 for 4L80E, except some L49 N/A 6.5s.

Thanks for shedding any light on it

I'm also trying to figure out why there was a distinction for L56 94 ECM EPROM codes from pre Jan 94 (built in 93) and post Jan 94. I was thinking maybe thats when they swapped to the 4L80E, but cant find any info on it. Both seem to have the 5067 IP identified which is 5521 compatable

Yeah IIRC the 4l60 AKA TH700 only came with 6.2s. They were junk anyway. Escpecially the earlier ones. I puked many of them. I put a modded TH400 in my 83. Got a TH400 from a 2wd and had tranny shop swap in a 4x4 tail and output shaft.

OK, thats good, although gmctd has stated a few times that the 94 1500s had 4L60E, and one time I googled it and found some online sales that said 4L60E on a 6.5TD, but they were probably just wrong.

The 92-93 C1500's had the option for a non turbo 6.5, and it was backed up by the 4L60 in 92 and the 4L60E in 93. The 3/4 tons and bigger from 91 on even behind the 6.2's almost always had a 4L80E.
