i just saw my left/drivers side mirror cap is missing[these are the factory tow mirrors[ ,it goes inbetween the 2 arms that go from the door out to the mirror head, and its black plastic with a pebble finish and about 2''x3'' and curved in shape and snaps on,, anybody know were i can get one?
 
It does not look like it is sold separately.:frown5: Maybe you can pick one up a the bone yard or see if you can pick up a single on eBay.

You're not the only one who's lost that little jeebus. I remembered seeing the P/N on another site...now it's in our records.
 
While we're on the topic, my driver side cover has been loose for years. I haven't wanted to try and pull it off for fear of breaking a tab or something. How does it come off? I could just glue it with body and trim cement I guess but I wondered if there was a clip or something I could tweak to tighten it up.

I think that you press inward on the rear facing edge and unclip it, swinging it forward like the door opens. I'm trying to remember, all I know is that plastic is darned brittle, try it when it's warm out.
