    Flexplate is good, oil pressure never dropped, im leaning towards the plastic retainers under the valve covers but if they broke and the rocker has some play would that cause any roughnes to the engine when running.

    Going to check the flexplate now, balancer and pulley are oem. I was thinking of pulling the valve covers to check the plastic retainers, I guess il look into other things before removing the intake and fuel lines.

    What are you guys getting for fuel milage when pulling heavy. I seem to be around 7mpg when pulling around 18000 pds (including trailer), Im guessing im overworking the truck pulling this weight through the hills but gotta pay the bills.
