quite alot too read, main takeaway from this is to definitely switch over from the mechanical pump to an electronic one (which, knowing my mechanical skills, will be a fun endeavor.....) Ill definitely do the clear line test before I do anything huge of the sort (though, I already have an IP...

So we actually took it to the on base DIY shop and did a smoke test, there was a indeed a bolt missing on my turbo which we fixed immediately, but the surge was not remedied I took it out for a test drive and when i rolled up (letting off the throttle) it began to surge again Missing bolt...

This is genuinely confusing me, the first half of the video is of it idling, it then began to surge out of nowhere, this is all after I changed the fuel filter, added howes additive and used diesel 911 to ungel the fuel last week, it actually ran relatively well after doing that and then today...

I'm not sure what at this point, the surge went away after a few days but it came back (although not as strong as before) it tends to happen when I let off the throttle, any suggestions would seriously go a long way, im about to give up at this point Video...

1985 6.2 Motor surges when running, unsure what it could be

My 6.2 has been surging as of late, it's acts as if the throttle on it is pushing down on it when that's not the case, ill link a video to this below https://www.reddit.com/r/Diesel/s/mnAKs16OJR I've been told it's the injector pump, air in the lines, etc but I don't know anymore, it's...
