A friend of mine is going to look at an 07 F-350 6.0 powerstroke with 46,000 miles on it. The dealer said it has a banks exhaust and intake on it from the previous owner which makes me wonder if the guy also had a tuner in it. What should he be looking for to see any signs of excessive wear...

What is odd is that it hasn't happened again since I posted about it. I checked for any codes and there are none and the windshield wipers have not acted up since either. I was able to get my hands on a set of GM repair manuals so maybe these might be able to shed some light on it.

I've had a couple of odd problems with my 07 LMM. The first one is a starting issue. Somtimes it dies immediately after it starts. All I do is shut the truck off and then it will start back up again. It doesn't throw any codes and once it is started it runs fine. It happened twice in a row...

I just had a set of boost and pyrometer gauges installed in my 07.5 LMM and am wondering how much boost is safe for a stock turbo? I've had it spike all the way up to 33 psi real quich then jump back down after it shifts.

Are we still on for the 19th?

I plan on heading down. Hopefully I can get all the stuff done that I plan on doing before then.

Maybe some pics showing the contrast between the gauge pod and tan roof liner and possibly one of the other A pillar painted. I am looking into running a boost/pyro setup but am a little unsure of how it would look if I tried to match the gauge pod to the interior tan. Thanks for the help.

Meeko what color was your A pillar originally? The reason I ask is beacause I have a Chevy LTZ and mine are tan and I'm not sure what color the GMC's are. Do you have any more pics of your interior with the gauges?
