I ran it some more it had about 2 min. on it yesterday. Its up to about 5 in todays video - the smoke at idle seems to be gone. There is a funny noise when my wife gives it fuel to increase rpm. That is the camera's fault, actually it revs up smooth with no extra noise according to my ear. But...

Here is an update. I installed the New Bosch injectors and started the engine (6.5 TD) and it fussed a little at first then settled down to perfect running! I videoed the startup and the video is linked below. It was running fine so I shut the camera off. Right after that I got 3 or 5 injector...

Thanks for the responses! I could not find the 'peeing' unit - I even looked in the AC/Delco's that I removed from the engine... it must have been on one I did not record - I usually give a pump or two to fill up with fuel but don't record that part. I noticed none of the AC units chattered...

Apparently the leaking stream out the injector bottom at lower than pop off pressure is not normal - but of course I don't remember which one that happened on. (or if it is on one of the videos) So I will re-test and be more careful on the pop off pressure as well. ;-)

I did get a response from the seller, it is apparently normal for the return ports to seep a little fuel. "Yes, the dripping out the return is totally normal. On an injector with an in-ward opening nozzle (which includes almost all diesel injectors), there has to be fuel return, or the nozzle...

Well, I crimped an old injector line and the pump leaks off just like it did when testing injectors... not a drop of fuel out the open end of the line.... They did send some spare parts with the tester. I will contact them and see what they have to say. Am I doing Great or What?? :-)

Of the original injectors - none as in zero had carbon on the inside of the injector (some on the washer but none anywhere else in the injector) This only appeared on 3 of the new china nozzles the rest did not have carbon, but as in the video the pintle would hang up and be hard to remove. I have unanswered questions about the leak off and even more questions about the quality of the replacement parts. Maybe I will know more after I run the tests again. Bear in mind the china nozzle injectors I am testing failed to last even one tank of fuel in the engine. I cleaned them up...
